One of my favorite sandwiches in the world has got to be a turkey and bacon club. The mouth watering appeal of juicy turkey topped with crispy, salty, bacon is something to marvel at. It is an ingenious little sandwich all on its own, but add in these tasty alternatives for a bit of a change.
Add a Bit of Mayo
Mayo and a Bacon Club go together like no other combo out there. This is a true classic; mixing the crunchy bacon texture with the creaminess of the mayonnaise. This is most definitely one of my all time favorites.
Avocado and Brie
Want to give your club a bit of a west coast twist? Try adding some fresh avocado and Brie cheese atop it. The creamy coolness of the avocado and the yummy bite of the Brie make this a tasty California flair.
Lettuce, Tomato, and Ranch
The old BLT! Add some fresh crispy lettuce and ripe juicy tomatoes, then, drizzle just a bit of ranch dressing across the top. Pile it high or just keep it short, either way this delicious all time favorite is sure to please.
Heat It Up
The great thing about turkey and bacon is they just about go with anything you put on them. If you like your sandwiches with a little kick, you can add some sliced jalapeño and Monterey Jack cheese. Top it all off with some sour cream and dill dressing to cool the heat just a bit.
No matter your taste, there is sure to be a combo here that will work for you. Give one a try or try them all. They will surely give your turkey and bacon club a yummy new twist.
